Attorney S. Hala Souman:

Hala is an attorney licensed to practice in Illinois.  Hala has worked
with clients on estate planning, trust and estate administration, and
other corporate and real estate matters. Her experience includes
working to incorporate asset protection planning strategies for individuals,
families and companies.

In the past, Hala worked as an associate in the Wealth Transfer Department for Levenfeld Pearlstein in 2000-2002. Hala served as a City of Chicago 711-attorney in 1998-1999, working on municipal prosecutions. Between 1994-1995, she also completed an internship for the Office of U.S. Sen. Paul Simon. In addition, Hala had an article published in University Health Systems, a publication distributed to more than 80 healthcare networks.

Hala is a member of the ChicagoBar Association, the Illinois Bar Association and the Arab American Bar Association. She received her bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, in history and political science from Loyola University of Chicago in 1995, earning the honor of Presidential Scholar and a membership in Phi Beta Kappa. She received her law degree from Loyola University, where she participated in Moot Court and served as senior editor and contributor to the prestigious Consumer Law Review.
